Code of Conduct
That’s Rhythm is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical ability, dance experience, or any other characteristic.
This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for behavior at all events hosted by our organization.
By participating in events organized or hosted by That’s Rhythm, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. We are dedicated to fostering a community that is welcoming, respectful, and inclusive for all.
Thank you for helping us create an enjoyable and safe experience for everyone.
Inclusivity and Diversity:
We celebrate and embrace the diversity of our community. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusionary behavior based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic is not tolerated.
Respect:
Respect for all individuals is fundamental to our community. Treat others with kindness and consideration. Be mindful of personal boundaries and always seek verbal or non-verbal consent before engaging in any dance or physical contact.
Creating a Safe Environment:
We are dedicated to providing a safe space for everyone. Any form of harassment, including but not limited to unwelcome comments, gestures, or physical contact, will not be tolerated. If you feel unsafe or witness unsafe behavior, please report it to event organizers immediately.
Consent:
Obtaining clear and enthusiastic consent is crucial in our community. Do not assume that someone is comfortable with a particular action. If in doubt, ask. If someone says “no” or expresses discomfort, respect their decision immediately.
Reporting Incidents:
If you experience or witness a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it to the event organizers as soon as possible. All reports will be treated confidentially, and appropriate action will be taken to address the situation.
Zero Tolerance for Harassment:
Harassment, whether verbal, physical, or online, will not be tolerated. This includes offensive comments, intimidation, stalking, unwelcome photography, or recording. That’s Rhythm reserves the right to take any necessary actions, including expulsion from events, to ensure a safe environment for all participants.
Feedback and Open Communication:
We encourage open communication and feedback. If you have suggestions or concerns regarding our Code of Conduct or any aspect of our events, please reach out to us.
We are committed to continuous improvement and creating an environment where everyone feels heard and valued.
